Emily & Michael held their incredible wedding at Inisfree Farm, a venue in Pullman, Michigan. I’m already super biased when it comes to this venue. I’ve come to know the sweet owners, Peggy & Bruce. They are just the sweetest people ever and will absolutely go above and beyond to make sure your wedding day is perfect. Not to mention their property is just stunning. I’ve photographed several elopements on their property, and this was my first big wedding at this venue. I don’t know that I’ll ever get tired of having the opportunity to be there!
Peggy recommended me to Emily’s mom, Julie. I received this inquiry roughly a month before the wedding day, so this was a tiny bit last minute as a wedding photographer. BUT I knew I couldn’t turn it down soon after getting off the phone with Julie. We had such a pleasant conversation. I knew Julie, Peggy, and I would make a great team for this very special wedding day.
Working with these wonderful humans have been my favorite part, but I will say the vintage touches is a close second! I am completely obsessed with Emily’s choice of makeup along with that DRESS! The vintage truck and decor also had my heart. Emily also opted to rock out a stunning satin reception dress with a deep V and a high slit! You’ll see that Michael was pleasantly surprised!
Since this Michigan wedding venue, Inisfree Farm, resides in a county with sound ordinances, Peggy and Bruce have come up with a unique solution. They call it the “silent disco”. Noise-reducing headsets are passed around to all the guests to enjoy the music the DJ is playing, while also abiding by the local laws!
Be sure to reach out ASAP to book your late 2023 wedding! I still have 4 available weekends between September through December! My 2024 books will officially open up in September!
