Bekah and Kevin opted to have their engagement session during spring in Holland, Michigan. We met up near Centennial Park and started with some cozy nooks near there. Being able to be part of Bekah’s engagement and wedding is so special to me because her sister, Hannah, has been coming to me for photoshoots for two years now! It’s always such an honor for me to be hired by referral.
Bekah showed up to this adorable Holland, Michigan engagement in a spring white jumpsuit, the classic jean jacket, and finished her look with the cutest pair of hot pink heels. Her second outfit was a little more casual with jeans, black tank top, a black crop jacket with leopard print puffy sleeves, and finished with high heel booties. Obsessed! Kevin rocked this dark purple dotted long sleeve button down paired with dark jeans. His second outfit was a simple khaki pants with a bright red crew neck sweater. I loved both!
After spending about forty minutes near Centennial Park, we headed over to one of Holland’s parking garages. We got lucky with it being mostly empty. The sun was starting to set and peeking out from the clouds, so we got some shots with that gorgeous golden hour light. They didn’t question my direction, and in return nailed every pose and prompt I threw at them. I always love when I get couples like that!
We chatted away, having so much fun running around. We absolutely did laugh a lot. Bekah and Kevin are a strong, resilient couple who deserve the best out of this life. I’m touched not only by their story, but also the vulnerability they were willing to share with me. Their wedding day is going to be intimate, soulful, and lively. I am looking forward to being part of all of it.
I have some space to take on ONE more wedding in October. My off season begins in December, so a DISCOUNT is in your sights if you book a wedding between December – February!
