The fact that I hadn’t yet blogged this hot pink wedding from last May is criminal. This stunning wedding was captured at Pigeon Creek Events Center in West Olive, Michigan, and OMG, it was such a vibe! The bride, who was all about that hot pink life, weaved her favorite color into every detail—like seriously, every detail. From the decorations to the bridesmaids’ dresses, it was a hot pink paradise! I can’t even express how obsessed I am with all the patterns they used. I think it added such a fun, unique touch to everything!
The couple had a really sweet and intimate ceremony at their church before heading to the reception at the venue. Pigeon Creek, by the way, is totally one of my favorites. It’s got this lovely simplicity about it, yet it offers so much versatility! The big windows let in natural light, which is a total game-changer for capturing real colors. Plus, the mix of white light just made everything pop in the best way possible—perfect for those true-to-life shots I absolutely love.
One of the coolest things was how they encouraged everyone to wear pink or colorful attire. The guests? Totally jumped on that theme! The dance floor was a colorful explosion, and it was just so much fun to capture all those candid moments of laughter and joy. When it came to posing, I loved directing the couple in a way that felt natural and fluid. You know, encouraging those little movements that reveal genuine emotion—nothing too stiff or staged.
This wedding, especially with all the hot pink, was a magical celebration. The day filled with love, laughter, and punchy color that made every shot a delight to take. Every detail, from the hot pink flowers to the confetti-like excitement on the dance floor, made for a truly unforgettable day.
