I had such a blast shooting Sadie and Brady’s engagement photos at Pohlcat Golf Course recently! Right from the get-go, they told me how much they love golfing together, and it just sparked an idea! We met during sunset at the course, and catching that golden hour light was pure magic. It was honestly the perfect backdrop for telling their unique story.
Sadie had put together this super cute inspiration board for the shoot, but I think we totally knocked it out of the park. We started with some golf-themed poses, which was fun and really highlighted their playful side. Just imagine them in some cute golf attire, laughing and enjoying each other’s company. Then, we transitioned into the movement-based shots that I love so much. Those moments where they just let go and laughed a lot — those are the ones that really capture their essence as a couple.
Once they got to see their gallery, the excitement was palpable! Sadie shared it on Facebook, Instagram, and even TikTok, and wow, the response has been phenomenal! She told me these images feel “so us,” which just fills my heart with joy. I’ve even received some messages saying how inspired they’ve felt seeing these, and how they want to do something similar!
I really aimed to bring out those real colors and bring a sense of direction and movement to their poses, and it looks like that approach really paid off. Seeing their laughter and those candid moments perfectly encapsulated their love for each other and their sport made this shoot one I won’t forget. I can’t forget to give credit to the beautiful landscapes that Pohlcat Golf Course gave us for this engagement session!
